touchHEMATOLOGY Future Leaders 2026 is nearly here!

We are counting down to the launch of touchHEMATOLOGY Future Leaders 2026 – a celebration of the rising stars shaping the future for patients with malignant and non-malignant blood disorders.
Earlier this year, we asked our 2025 Future Leaders and expert faculty about what it takes to build a successful career in today’s rapidly evolving specialty. Their insights highlighted a field defined by scientific progress, expanding opportunities and the ability to make a lasting impact on patient care. They emphasized that success requires intellectual curiosity, a willingness to challenge conventional thinking and a commitment to continuous learning as new technologies transform clinical practice.
As hematology continues to advance, tomorrow’s leaders must be ready to adapt, combining scientific expertise with sound clinical judgement and a patient-centred approach. The most successful clinicians and researchers are those who embrace innovation while remaining open to new collaborations, fresh perspectives and emerging areas of discovery.
Inspired by these qualities, we invited the global hematology community to nominate outstanding early-career colleagues already making their mark. We looked for individuals demonstrating excellence across research, clinical care and education, alongside clear leadership potential and a commitment to advancing the specialty. Engagement with the wider hematology community – through international meetings, collaborative research and professional societies – was also an important hallmark of this year’s nominees.
The countdown is on.
Stay tuned as we introduce the remarkable touchHEMATOLOGY Future Leaders 2026
